Was Ist Das? bought this on CD day one. Probably the only album ever to bring a busy room to an uncomfortable standstill. Aged beautifully and while my old CD has been wall cared for, nice to have all the bonus stuff and its portable so I can ruin the party anywhere! Favorite track: Arc.

karl lovblad I bought This when it came out. I think based on a review in Q magazine (could have been the NME). I have followed him from afar ever since.

about

Spore remains one of the most popular of this early suite of Scanner albums. Released on New Electronica at the height of the UK electronic music scene, Spore captured a very particular moment in time, mixing up scanned found mobile phone conversations with ambient music. Closing track 'Arc' remains the most popular Scanner track on Spotify too.

In addition this release features the 12" vinyl, Above Your Eyes/Flaneur Electronique, that preceded the album release, and a series of works that have never been released before from the Scanner Archives, all of which were recorded in the same period 1994-1995
